Conditions of participation and data protection
Munich Startup, a portal of MGH – Münchner Gewerbehof- und Technologiezentrums GmbH, Gollierstraße 70, 80339 Munich, hereinafter referred to as Munich Startup, is giving away two tickets for the startup scene's late shift. By participating in the competition, the user agrees to the following terms and conditions of participation and accepts responsibility for the content.
1. What can you win?
By participating, you have the chance to win two tickets for the late shift of the startup scene.
2. How can you win?
Participation in the competition takes place at the URL: https://www.facebook.com/munichstartupThe prize will be raffled among all participants. Participants can participate by commenting on the contest post.
3. Over what period will the campaign take place?
The campaign starts on January 20 and ends on January 25, 2016.
4. Who can participate?
Participation is free and open to any natural person 18 years of age or older. Participation requires truthful provision of relevant information. Sweepstakes associations and automated sweepstakes services are not eligible. Please only enter once. Multiple entries do not increase your chances of winning, as they will be filtered and excluded from the drawing.
5. Who is excluded from participation?
Munich Startup reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation for legitimate reasons, such as violations of these terms and conditions, duplicate or multiple entries, manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. Employees of Munich Startup and participating partners, as well as their families, are not permitted to participate in this competition. Legal recourse is excluded.
6. How are the winners determined?
Munich Startup will select the winners from among all participants in an independent lottery.
7. How do I find out if I have won?
The winner will be notified by posting their Facebook username in a comment under the contest post. The winner may also be notified of their win via a private message.
8. How do I receive my prize?
The ticket codes will be sent via email.
9. What happens if I don't respond after being notified of my win?
If a winner fails to contact Munich Startup in a timely manner, the prize will be forfeited. In this case, a new winner will be drawn at random from among the eligible participants.
10. Reservation clause
Munich Startup reserves the right to modify, interrupt, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons. However, Munich Startup will only exercise this option if the proper conduct of the competition cannot be guaranteed due to force majeure, technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software), or legal reasons. Munich Startup is not liable for losses, failures, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. In justified cases, the prize may be replaced with prizes of equivalent value.
11. Data protection provisions
Your safety and satisfaction are our top priority. Munich Startup stores and uses the collected data exclusively for the purpose of administering the competition. All information will be deleted after the competition ends.
12. Miscellaneous
Cash payment of prizes is not possible. Claims to prizes cannot be transferred or assigned to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining Terms and Conditions shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that most closely reflects the purpose of the invalid provision. Munich Startup reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
13. Indemnity from Facebook
This competition is run by Munich Startup, a portal of MGH – Münchner Gewerbehof- und Technologiezentrums GmbH, Gollierstraße 70, 80339 Munich. It has no connection with Facebook and is not sponsored, supported, or organized by Facebook in any way. Information is transmitted to Munich Startup, not to Facebook.
